Fresh and Floral...

As some of you will know, we have been doing a few renovations to our home. One thing I really wanted was just one wall of lovely, large scale floral wallpaper. As we are planning on trying to sell sometime soon, everyone has advised against it. Keep it neutral, appeal to the wider market, blah blah. So sadly, my floral wall will have to wait until the next house. I don't really get it though..whilst that last one may only last a couple of days (ha!), what's not to love about these pretties?! And if anyone knows the source of this first wallpaper, please let me know!

I love this idea! That first wallpaper is divine. If I were a potential home buyer and saw a wall of floral wallpaper like these, it would only add appeal for me! :)

I say go for it, not everyone likes bland!

- you know what... "they" are right!
Unless you already know who you are selling to, unlikely, i would keep the house neutral!
People are so narrow minded, and many get hung up on cosmetics, so I say go for the money, and "plant" the oversized flowers in your new home where you can enjoy them!!!

That first wallpaper is divine! If its done well, floral wallpaper could add value, but it would rely on beautifully complemented furniture to show its full potential xx

Ooh, that first wallpaper is delicious! It's a tricky one... we're not planning on moving in the near future, but if and when we do, I will be sorry to leave behind my beloved Designers Guild wallpaper in our entrance. If the next owner don't like it (god forbid!), it's not a big wall to re-do. xxx

My partner and I are working on a removable wallpaper which would be perfect in this instance. He is a signwriter and a new vinyl product has come out so we're going to design something to be printed on it then apply to either our apartment or country house - I will let you know how it goes!

I get why "they" say that but it's a but boring, isn't it? I adore your choices and I bet a big floral wall would look amazing!

A shame you had to go for neutral because a floral wall would have been fabulous! Just saw one in the latest issue of a homes magazine here in the UK! xx
