A grand entrance...

A proper entryway is one thing our little house lacks. In fact I think this entrance belonging to magazine editor Suzanne Dimma, is about the size of our whole living room! I love that the space has a traditional feel though also mixes in some oriental elements with the blue and white ceramics, faux bamboo stool and the cute cabinet and drum. Though my favourite features would have to be that Madeline Weinrib rug and the beautiful detailing in that ceiling arch...

I hope your week is off to a great start :)

I just discovered that I wasn't following you on GFC and quickly corrected that. I can't believe it, because I love coming her so much. It is always so pretty here! I'm so sorry and hope you know how much I love your blog!

This is the perfect entry. Honeycomb tiles, graphic rug, black door and white walls. This is my dream entry too!

I would LOVE an entryway too, but my apartment walks straight into our living/dining! Maybe one day....

Love these shots too!!

I couldn't agree more about the importance of an entrance. We had to reclaim an entrance from a space near the front door that the previous owners were using as a second dining room. I'm glad we did, it was well worth the effort.
